CUSTOMER REVIEWS:
Reviews of BlackBerry Made Simple Products & Services Just What I Needed!
Reviewer: Dan S. (California, USA)

The Videos are just what I needed! Short, Concise and Relevant!

"Turns on the light" for features that are not readily intuitive! (Definitely Recommend)
Reviewer: Lou (Avid BlackBerry User) (USA)

The videos were very clear and informative (4.8 Stars out of 5). I would definitely recommend these videos - even if that person had been using the BlackBerry for some time. There is information in the videos that "turns on the light" for features that are not readily intuitive. Even those who are computer literate may not find all the features offered by the BlackBerry. The support for the BlackBerry has been excellent. Thanks!
I am using my BlackBerry to communicate through the aircard feature (a modem for my Laptop). The speed is very acceptable. As far as specific new thing I learned were: quickly paging up and down the e-mails, changing settings, and similar functions. The new tips & tricks items were so wide spread, it is hard for me to nail down exactly which pieces I picked up.

Easy to Follow...Learned A Lot (Recommend)
Reviewer: Nicky (USA)

I am finding them useful and easy to follow. I just started reviewing the videos yesterday, but have learned a lot already... I'm pleased my organization signed me up for the tutorials. I would recommend them to others.

Right Length and Simple to Understand (Definitely Recommend)
Reviewer: Bob L. (USA)

I would rate all of the videos that I have viewed as "5 star". The site is real easy to use, the videos are just the right length, and they are real simple to understand.

I would definitely recommend them to others, particularly people who have had no prior experience with blackberry devices.

Short & Sweet! (Recommend)
Reviewer: Sandy (USA)

“The videos are short, sweet, and to the point. Great idea!
I would rate them a 5 of 5 stars and I would recommend them to others."

Very Easy to Follow! (Recommend)
Reviewer: B. H. (USA)

Very easy to follow, concise instructions.
I would recommend the videos to others, they are beneficial.
I know guys love to discover, but the videos were a great map to the tools I need. I am planning on reviewing the videos again, just to refresh my memory on less used features.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does BlackBerry Made Simple do?
We help wireless carriers reduce help desk calls from BlackBerry users by providing self-service short training videos.    (See Video on Computer Samples here or Videos on BlackBerry Samples here)  Our videos are all "short and to the point" (most just 3-5 minutes long), enjoyable and describe the best tips and tricks in "plain English."

Will the Videos save us time and money?
Yes.  Videos are the most cost-effective way to train your BlackBerry users.  You will save money by reducing help desk calls - users train themselves.
You will also save money by reducing BlackBerry customer 'CHURN' - since the users are easily able to train themselves, they are more likely to be happy and keep the BlackBerry device.  Our videos also help promote greater use of data-intensive applications such as email, web browsing, Google Maps and more.

Will the Videos reduce calls to our help desk?
Yes.  Many users will learn all the basics and advanced tips & tricks by watching the videos.  And, what's even better, if they have a question, then can use the keyword search feature to pinpoint and answer their question without every calling your help desk.  Some of our clients have reduced help desk calls by 90%.

Why Videos instead of live or web training?
See all the reasons in our 1 pager PDF file here.

Can we deploy videos on our Public Web Site?
Yes.   The only thing we require is that you deploy the videos so they are protected by your standard user account login username/password.

I'm worried about size of the video library - how big is it?
Not big.  The FLASH video library viewable via computer web browser is just about 1 (one) gigabyte.  The specially formatted video library to be viewable on the BlackBerry (.3GP format) is expected to be about 150MB (or just 15% of the smallest 1GB MicroSD Flash memory card)

What format are the videos?
They are in Adobe FLASH format for the Computer and .3GP for the BlackBerry.

Can the videos on the computer be watched on both WindowsTM and Apple MacTM computers?
Yes!  Since they are in Adobe FLASH format, you can watch them on any computer's web browser.

Do you keep up to date with new BlackBerry releases?
Yes.  We release new videos very shortly after major new BlackBerry models are released.  We have added approximately 100 new videos in the last 12 months.
Note: Major BlackBerry releases have resulted in between 40-60 new videos being added to the library.

How do we receive the Videos to install on our Web Server?
We allow you to download the videos via FTP File transfer.  If you choose, we can also ship you a DVD with all the videos.

How hard is it to install the Videos on our servers?
It is very easy.  You can simply copy over the videos and existing menu system and you can be up and running in minutes.

Can we customize which videos our users can watch?
Yes.  You may either customize our menu system or create your own menu system.  Each video is modular and contained in its own HTML file - so you just link to that file.

Can we request new videos be developed by you?
Yes.  If we deem that these videos will be useful for our entire user base, then these videos will be created at no additional cost to you.
If you request these videos only be for your own internal use ("Custom Videos"), or we deem that these videos will not be useful for all our customers, then we will charge you a project-based cost to develop them.  You will own a perpetual license to these videos and can use them indefinitely.
